Onsite Data Destruction
PCs for People guarantees that all data on computers will be destroyed before equipment leaves a company’s property. This eliminates data in transit and any chance for data loss.
Process Overview
Prior to our arrival, computers and servers marked for data destruction must be stacked or stored by your staff in an area where the LAN port and power plug are accessible on each machine and a power jack is within a 30' reach. Upon PCs for People's arrival our data destruction server is hooked to the LAN ports and power is run to the computers. PCs for People's mobile data sanitization team typically wipes 30 computers at a time and can complete up to 120 computers per day. At the end of the process, a detailed report of all hard drives overwritten will be provided for compliance and computers are loaded into PCs for People's trucks. Any drives that fail the sanitization process are physically destroyed onsite.
